White Birch Lodge

I absolutely loved staying here, my children were fortunate enough to interact with some amazing staff this past week. I believe one of their names was Thomas Goslee, he was incredible and did so much to make this experience one to remember. We will definitely be back!

We just got home from WB. It was our first time there and what an incredible place. We have 5 people (2 adults and 3 kids) in our family. I called 2 or so months prior to our vacation to book. Gladys only had 1 rental available for the week I wanted. She told me it was small for 5 people, but it would work. I took it. Traveled north about 7.5 hrs to the lodge. Must check in on a Saturday and must book for 1 week at a time. We dragged our boat up and happy we did, but definitely didn’t need it. There were soooooo many water sports offered at the lodge that you could stay there all day and the kids would be perfectly happy. They teach skiing, wakeboarding, and take the kids on the tube. They have a banana boat also for the smaller children. The staff are the sweetest kids you’ll ever meet. Must have been going to WB for years and years with their families and then travel back to work the summers. Maggie was our waitress the entire trip and my kids loved her. But they are all awesome! The lodge offers all meals in the cost. You literally don’t have to leave to eat. I thought the food was great. They do campfires at night and the kids loved making s’mores. My kids swam sometimes until 10 pm bc it doesn’t get dark until then. They have 2 hrs everyday where the kids go to kids camp and the parents can do anything they want to do. My kids loved that part. Only negative was the bathroom was outdated in our room, but that’s just bc the place has that nostalgic feel. I don’t think they want to change that. Our shower was the smallest. Water temperature was hard to regulate and the drains got to smelling like sewer gas. We learned to deal with it bc it was only a week. I know they have many rooms and I’m sure I was just in the oldest part of the lodge. Also, something I didn’t know was there wasn’t a TV or AC in our unit. Thank goodness I don’t travel without a floor fan and so I would just put it in the window and we did fine with the night air coming in the windows. Everyone goes to bed by 10, which I loved bc who stays up past 10 anyway?! Mornings were my favorite bc I would get up and go to the kitchen and get fresh coffee and enjoy it while the kids and Dad slept. Gorgeous views of Elk Lake. The water is blue blue!! I had never seen anything so pretty. All in all, our trip to WB was the most amazing and I would definitely recommend to anyone. We will definitely be going back next year!

My first trip here. I DJ'd a wedding "after party" at this place and it was close to home so I didn't stay over to evaluate any rooms. But what I saw was a place was very cozy and a lot of fun! The service I experienced was excellent and the staff were awesome! Book your special event with confidence!

Everything about this place was absolutely amazing my family and I loved staying here and we will for sure be back. would highly recommend for anyone. Lots of water sports. If you go a little bit early in the year you might get the place to yourself like we did.

My son and his wife attended a wedding here and we visited them over the weekend. What a beautiful area. Mostly condominiums.

Super cool atmosphere and a great location on Elk Lake! The young staff are incredibly kind, helpful and so courteous, it makes you feel like you're either at a Disney Park or back in time on an episode of Father Knows Best or Leave it to Beaver! The accommodations are clean, well-kept and comfortable, and the food and community feeling is very special! A great place for a family reunion or a nice weeklong retreat to refresh and get closer to nature! I highly recommend White Birch Lodge !

Have been coming here for 5 years. Love coming here. Staff is great and so are the people. Best place to vacation. Ski show is amazing every year. Loved learning how to ski here and wakeboard. Everyone is so supportive and it feels like one big family. Definitely come here for vacation. They are also amazing with accommodating food allergies. I love how there is something fun each day. There is also a kids club that seems fun even though I have never been. I have never not felt unwelcomed. The oneness is also nice and friendly. The only thing I don’t like is that I can’t stay all summer.

Great time at White Birch Lodge relaxing and water skiing. 5/5 except the food which is hit or miss.
